Nominations close at Midday on Thursday 15 August, with the ballot draw and release of the candidate's names occurring after midday on Friday 16 August.

has all the electorates and shows that North Sydney is a Liberal seat that needs a swing of 14.1% to change to Labor.
Does that make the seat a non-event?

Will we get a strong independent candidate? We will know soon.
